MINUTES OF A MEETING OF FINNINGLEY PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN THE VILLAGE HALL, FINNINGLEY,
ON TUESDAY, 18th AUGUST 2015 AT 7:00 PM

 

PRESENT:

Cllrs R Johnson (Chairman), Mrs I Batunas, W Bedford, Miss C Clayborn,Mrs J Tuff, Mrs C Styring and B Worsfold
Mrs J Leighton-Eshelby – Clerk

IN ATTENDANCE:

Mr Roy Hattersley

Prior to commencement of business a period of up to 15 minutes was allowed for Public Participation.

 

Mr Roy Hattersley advised that the police had attended the Playing Fields on Friday 14th August and that the graffiti on the skate park had been reported to DMBC.
It was also noted that Laughing Gas capsules (Nitrous Oxide) have been found on the Playing Fields and this had been reported to Stephen Racjan (DMBC).

Mr Hattersley reported that unfortunately dog fouling had increased on the Playing Fields and that he was continuing to keep a record of all instances as requested.

TO DISCUSS ANY ISSUES RAISED UNDER PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Councillor Mrs C Strying expressed concern regarding the Laughing Gas capsules found on the Playing Fields as these have been found to cause death through misuse.
RESOLVED to continue to report any capsules found to Stephen Racjan (DMBC) and also to the local police on 101.

REVIEW OF BUDGET & PRECEPT SETTING
The Parish Council reviewed the procedures for setting the budget and precept and the Chairman explained in detail how the Council Tax base is calculated.

TO CONSIDER A RESPONSE TO THE “DONCASTER LOCAL PLAN – ISSUES & OPTIONS CONSULTATION 2015
The Parish Council considered and decided on their response to the Doncaster Local Plan - Issues & Options Consultation.
RESOLVED to respond to the on-line consultation survey as agreed. CLERK

A response to the Doncaster Local Plan – Vision, Aims & Objectives was subsequently agreed.
RESOLVED to respond to the on-line consultation survey as agreed. CLERK

RESOLVED to put a note to residents informing them of the Doncaster Council – New Local Plan on the Parish Council Noticeboards.
