The Clerk, after consulting with members, forwarded the comments
(1) 14/02750/FUL Retrospective application for installation of 960
roof mounted solar pv panels equating to 240kwp at Higgins Farm
Limited, Old Bawtry Road, Finningley.
(2) 14/02714/FUL Continued use of agricultural dwelling (without
compliance with conditions 2 and 4 of application 05/771/P granted
on 01.08.2005 – (2) tied dwelling and (4) personal to applicant
at Mill Race Farm, Wroot Road, Finningley.
This property is in a countryside policy area and (we believe in
common with several houses in that area) used to be restricted for
use by agricultural and/forestry workers (and their immediate families)
The application quoted 05/0771/P, diluted this to make it "
The occupation ...shall at all times be limited to a person ...
whose employment is involved with the use of the land as a gun centre
known as Euroguns." (clause 2 of the permission) and "permission
granted ... solely for the benefit of Mr S Drage (the applicant)
only." (clause 4).
As the current application, 14/02714/FUL, states that Mr Drage
will no longer be the owner, we have no objection to the removal
of clause 4, DMBC may or may not require a new name inserting.
Regarding clause 2, we have no objection to the change of wording
(or change of use) to the proposal on the application form however
we feel we must monitor this over the years lest the use of the
property changes too far from agriculture/forestry.
d) Application 14/02713/FUL Redevelopment of former rural pursuit
and gun centre to new animal rescue and visitor centre with overnight
staff accommodation, including café, shop, kennels, stables,
outdoor equestrian arena, building for storage and ancillary use
for food preparation, treatment and administration at Mill Race
Farm, Wroot Road, Finningley.
It was agreed that Councillors R Johnson and D Lindley would liaise
on this and forward any comments to the clerk to send to DMBC.
e) Application 14/02878/FUL Erection of front porch and pitched
roof two storey extension to rear of detached dwelling following
demolition of existing rear utility/wc at 23 Wroot Road, Finningley.
